About Robinson’s Catering
Daniel Robinson is the owner of Robinsons Catering in Birmingham and Chef and Co-Proprietor of No 9 Church St in Stratford upon Avon.
Born in Birmingham, Dan’s first insight into the hospitality industry was at his uncle’s restaurant in Wells in Somerset. Having worked at Nailcote Hall Hotel (where he met his No 9 business partner Wayne Thomson for the first time) and Claridge’s he returned to the Midlands to work at the 1 Michelin Starred Mallory Court Hotel. After a brief spell as a ski instructor in the Austrian Alps which lasted three years, Dan returned to the UK to work with Wayne again on the fine dining section at New Hall.
It wasn’t long before Dan’s entrepreneurial spirit shone through and he set up Robinson’s Catering in 2007. Now serving the whole of the West Midlands, Dan’s passion for success is shown in the care and attention he delivers when cooking, ultimately believing in fresh, good quality local ingredients. Dan’s enthusiasm is catching and his entire team at Robinsons have the same ethos.
